Don't know.
These thin dessert pancakes are the only thing my husband knows how to make and he makes them really well. We usually top ours with strawberries, good quality vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
INGREDIENTS
For Pancakes:
300 ml or 1 1/4 cup milk
2 eggs
200 ml or 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. melted butter
A pinch of salt
50 ml or 3 tbsp. sugar
Butter or oil for frying
For toppings:
Good quality vanilla ice cream
Fresh strawberries (I sliced them and sprinkled homemade vanilla sugar over them and let stand for a while.)
Whipped cream
But you can use anything you like.
DIRECTIONS1. Pour the milk into a bowl. Add the flour and salt (and sugar if desired) and mix until smooth.
2. Blend in the eggs and cooled melted butter.
3. Heat the butter or oil in a frying pan and pour in some of the batter. Cook until the pancake is set and the bottom golden brown.
4. Flip the pancake and cook the other side.
5. Put your toppings on and serve.

Looks so yummy! Mr. Finn has been asking me for like a year to make these with
blueberries. I'm such a bad wife.
I should surprise him someday with these.
4Mmm, chocolate syrup and powdered sugar.
That actually makes me hungry.
5Twink, come make these for me every morning while I'm pregnant, please.
6This is something I would absolutely love!
7Those look FABULOUS!!! I think I need to make those.
What does it taste like without adding the sugar?
8So yummy
I am so hungry right now

13Oh my GOD
That looks AMAZING!!!!!!!
14I am definitely making this!!!!
15Finn, they sell a good ready mix that we use most of the time. You can find it in Norway too.
These are also good with just lemon and sugar.
I'm guessing Nutella would be really
good too.
16Thanks Twink. I tried to make my mom's recipe last summer in Finland but it really didn't work. I don't know if it was because of the flour. Might have been a different kind. And the eggs are different too over there. Tarmo saw your pancakes and begged me to make them.
17these remind me of my dads pancakes! yummie!
18Is the batter on the thin side? Could they be made in a crepe pan? They look thin and delish!
I like your idea of serving Nutella with these, one of my favorites!
19They're thicker than crepes but a crepe pan would work. Next time I'm going to put Nutella on it and then fold and top with powdered sugar.
20Thanks Twinkle. Your Nutella ideas sounds yummy, but since it's strawberry season here I'll try them with the fruit first. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
21These look delish!
22OMG, now WHY did I open this post?!?!?!
23I can't wait for hubby to try these, he is actually the cook, hee hee.
24i agree with you DesignRchic ... why did i opened this?
25I made these this weekend and they were delicious!
