Modified from Netcooks
We had these pork steaks that the boy's parents gave to us, and no idea how to cook them. So I found a recipe online and then modified it a teensy bit.
We've been using our crockpot a lot. It's so easy!
INGREDIENTS
2 pork steaks, cut into bite-size pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can tomato sauce (16 oz.)
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
cooked rice or noodles
DIRECTIONSIn a skillet, cook the pork with the oil until browned. It doesn't have to be cooked all the way through but be sure it's browned on all sides.
Mix the pork and all the other ingredients in a crock pot. Cook on low, stirring occasionally, for 6-8 hours.
Serve over cooked noodles and rice.

Looks very yummy and easy. Man, I need a crock pot.
1sounds good. I want a crock pot too. I think if you're cooking it for 6-8 hours, mincing the garlic is overkill since it'll just dissolve anyway.
2Looks yummy. Wish I had a crock pot but a dutch oven on the stove top would work fine too I guess.
3Looks delish, and perfect with the fetuccini!
