There was a good deal on chuck roast at Whole Foods the other day and I was thinking I'd bust out the crock pot and toss it in for dinner sometime this week. I've been reading through some recipes on the internets, but thought I'd check in here to see if anyone's got anything tried and true. Any suggestions?

Lipton onion soup mix and a little water. Then thicken up the soup with cornstarch and cold water when it's done for gravy.
1Funny. I'm celebrating my boring week-ness by buying 3 chuck steaks to share with the dogs. Great minds. I'm going to pound the hell out of mine with a metal mallet and pan fry them, though.
2I always use Jen76's recipe and it turns out delicious.

4I just made this recipe a week ago, it is truly to die for!

5im not a big fan usually i just throw some barbeque sauce on
6I either go the soup mix route like colormesticky, or if you don't have any you can just use like something like cream of mushroom soup. Or you can use both and mix them together and then you don't have to bother with thickening your gravy.
7I have no ideas but I'll love to see the results pix
