Mother's Day is coming up this Sunday and I was just wondering what everyone is planning on doing for their mommies? I know food is usually a big factor so I posted this under Kitchen Goddess.
celebrity_soup is planning a whole menu for her Mom from 9am to 9pm!
I'm planning on flowers in the morning and maybe making her a nice brunch and I'm hoping we'll go out for massages (need to make reservation soon! lol).
So what are you planning on doing?

My mom lives away from here so I send her a card, I get her a gift and I treat her and my dad and sister to a nice dinner. On mom's day I give her a call to say hello.

1I would give har my love a gift and a few cards. We would probobly either eat home or go out. not sure what i would do this year yet!
2i think im going to make my mom breakfast in bed on mothers day, after she is done eating im going to take her to get a pedi and buy her a nice gift of perfume or such! then we usually go out to dinner as a family for mothers day which will be nice!
3if yall have a nice tea room in you area, google them up and sometimes they have mother's day packages where you sip tea, eat tea sandwiches, cookies and scones! i'm looking it up now:D
4Mothers Day is actually on Sunday and we will be visiting her and we have a card for her, like every year.
5oh yeah sunday! thanks for the reminder, i was about to book an appointment for saturday. lol
6My mom and I will be working on our tans together by the pool at my grandfather's house. After that we will dine on crab and I'm making her dulce de leche ice cream!
7My Mother lives a long ways away from me right now, so a visit to do some of the choices isn't even realistic.
I'll call her and send her something though.

Both of our moms get a card and a gift, usually flowers. My mom's birthday is the 11th, so the family is having a dinner for her on Mother's day for her birthday.
10I will go to have lunch with her at her house; all the family get together, we are 3 sisters and 2 brothers, with our wives and husbands and she is grandmother of 5; and also my daddy will be there of course.
11I'll buy her a present.
I'm putting her ass on an airplane away from here! ...because she's flying up on Wednesday to visit us and has to get back to Florida for work on Monday.
12I'm going to attempt to recreate a 4 course meal for my mom (our house was flooded on mother's day last year
). I'll post the menu at some point this week, then take pictures on Sunday! My sister and her 3 girls are coming to surprise her (since my sis, lives out of state). We
bought my mom a pendant and necklace with our stones set in it. She totally deserves it all and more. Single mom's ROCK!

15Mom lives closest to me so i get to spend a little more time with her. But i'll give her a gift, flowers, and then dinner to a really nice restaurant with my sisters,brother and the rest of my family.
16Awww I wish I could be with my fam on mothers day! I always plan a really nice day for my mom.. I make her breakfast in bed, take her out for the day to museums or sight seeing or a play and out to tea.. something she likes, out for lunch, and then make a nice dinner.. and then gifts of course
BUT since I'm in the States and she's in London I HOPE that the rest of my fam plans something special for her
I'm sending her a foot spa (sooo nice with rolling massage, heated water, bubble action.. woot woot!) a card and this personalized mug I had made..

23We are taking her out eat and bought her gifts with cards. This is the time that all her kids can come together and have a good time. It is also her birthday- so today we are having cake.. Mother's Day and birthday all in one.. pretty cool!
