Ms. Camlibel taught me this while I was in Turkey...she's an amazing cook!

I learned this and have been in love with this recipe since I was first taught it. My teacher is an amazing woman whose talent is only surpassed by her passion for her native Turkish food.


INGREDIENTS

1.5 kg pumpkin
400 g sugar
150 g walnuts
1 cup water

DIRECTIONS

Peel the pumpkin and clean the pips. Cut the pumpkin into small pieces and put in a large saucepan. Put the sugar and water on it. Close the cover and put on the medium hot stove. Cook until pumpkins are dry. After cooling, put the crushed walnuts on and serve.
