For YumSugar's candy challenge, my friend (and user) Beamer1 and I got together to make these cute, candy-filled phyllo purses. Most of them are filled with homemade chocolate dipping sauce, Milky Ways, 3Musketeers, Snickers, Twix, chocolate Twizzlers, cookie dough bites, caramels, etc. Everything was cut up kinda small and put in each miniature purse!
A cute clutch with a heart clasp made from a fresh cherry:
A nice hobo bag with a dainty pocket:

A fun summer tote bag:
Everything was simple to make. Just follow normal prep instructions on the phyllo dough box, fill with candy of choice, and bake until slightly golden (6-8 mins at 350 should do it).

3Aww thanks guys. We really struggled with making these at first. I have a pic of a mishap...the poor 'purse' looks more like an egg roll than anything else. Phyllo dough is realllllly hard to work with. Especially when youre cutting it into small squares to mold into a purse. These can all fit in the pal of your hand!

15Of course they tasted great! The chocolate and caramel were all melty when they first came out of the oven and the phyllo was buttery and crispy. It was delightful!
