To be totally honest—the Wii game, "Cooking Mama" really got me into cooking. I thought, "I'm 23 and I only know how to cook eggs. Sad." So, I started a new hobby—COOKING!

I decided to make Homemade Meaty Lasagna as my first attempt.

It didn't turn out so well because I forgot to buy the ricotta cheese and I put way too much spices and herbs into it (thought I was cool because I didn't use any measuring cups/spoons), but maybe it'll turn out better for you! Just follow the directions!

You'll need:

2-3 lbs of lean ground beef
1 can (28 oz) of tomato sauce
1 can (16 oz) of tomato paste
1 tsp each of basic, oregano, parsley & garlic powder
(the spices can be fresh if you want, but I used dried)
1 tbsp of parmesean cheese (grated)
2-3 lbs of mozzerella cheese (grated)
30 oz of ricotta cheese
lasagna pasta

1. Boil pasta in water in a medium-sized pot
2. Make sauce in seperate pan (just throw all of the ingredients in there minus the mozzerella cheese! Sticking out tongue) at medium-high heat
3 Preheat oven to 375 degrees
4. Layer in a 9x11 pan: sauce, mozz cheese, pasta, etc—however you want to do it, but make sure the top layer is mozz cheese.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is completely melted and edges are brown!
