I've never done Fresh Direct, although I see their trucks around everywhere. I order my fiance's coffee online, but that's it. The savings is mind-boggling on that one item.

I used to use a service in DC, but I can't remember what it was called...the prices were pretty high though, so I only used them when I needed something and couldn't or really didn't feel like going out...

I just bought some bulk healthier snacks for Jake online at Amazon to take to school, but we don't have anywhere locally to buy fresh produce online.

I'd consider it. I've order a few things here & there like noodles and candy, but never anything substantial.

i don't know if I would do my regular shopping online but definitely nonperishables and specialty items.

It's a great way to buy food from other countries that you can't find easily.

I used to grocery shop online in Australia before I had a car. It was very convenient and the bill was low because there were no impulse buys. But I still prefer to select my own meat, fruit and vegetables.

i have bought cocoas and used drugstore.com.. so i think grocery shopping would online would be fun

I have never tried it but I am not completely closed off to the idea; like other mentioned though there are certain items that I would still want to hand select.
