This is so simple and I can not believe I thought of it. (Well I'm pretending I did atleast)
All you will need is::
*Cake Mix(which usually calls for)
--1 cup water
--1/3 cup oil
-- 3 eggs
Blend ingredients together in a large bowl. Beat with a mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes or whisk by hand.
After that added a couple drops of green food coloring, enough to make it green-green. Take a knife and just swirl it around in the mix so it's not ALL green, just green swirls.
Bake approx 19-23 minutes. Poke a toothpick in the middle cupcake to see if it comes out clean. If so take them out. OUT!
Let them COOL!
I like to call them Grinch cupcakes..minus the Grinch.
Take 2 bowls and divide your frosting up -It should be white icing- add some red food coloring to one bowl and green to the other. Mix and ice the cupcakes.
Crush some candy canes and sprinkle on top.

9Can I have one? lol
They look very yummy & so creative! I LOVE cupcakes...lol
The other day, I invented my own little cupcake design too!
I made regular cupcakes, but to design the frosting, I put 1/2 chocolate on one side of the top of the cupcake, and then 1/2 vanilla on the other side. I then took a fork, and carefully pulled the vanilla onto the chocolate, for a striped effect kinda, then put a marachino cherry on top! I called them "Jaime's Tuxedo Cupcakes".
YUM! My friends laugh at me when I tell them someday I'm going to open my own little cupcake
shop...lol
