Twinkle's delicious-looking snack from earlier today reminded me of this treat I used to make a lot. So, when we were at the store, I got the goods and whipped up a batch after dinner. Best of all, this utilizes the microwave and the fridge - nothing more.
What you'll need:
2 cups small marshmallows
1 cup chow mein noodles
1 11.5 oz. bag Nestle milk chocolate morsels
2 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
I use extra marshmallows and extra peanut butter, because I really love both. Also, don't scoff at the chow mein noodles - this treat really is tasty. You can sub Nestle's butterscotch morsels for another interesting taste.
Gather your stuff. Salmonella-contaminated peanut butter gets bonus points.

Combine morsels and peanut butter in a bowl, and nuke it for three minutes on 50% power.

While that's melting, measure out your chunky bits.

When the microwave beeps, the morsels will still have some shape, but they'll be good and mushy. Stir the chocolate and the peanut butter into one smooth blend.

Mix it all up until the chunky bits are good and covered in the chocolate/peanut butter.

Using a large spoon, dole out equal lumps onto a cookie sheet covered in foil.

Slide 'em into the fridge for about an hour.

When they're cooled, they'll easily peel off the foil. I put them in a Ziploc and store them in the fridge. A batch this size usually lasts about two days in our house. :piggies:

What I am surprised is that the Yuengling is in that fridge and not consumed!!! Drink up!
1Oh and the treats look delicious.
2You knew you would get me with the Yuengling making it into the photo!
Yeah - we just bought that. Knoxville finally got Yuengling! We used to have to drive over to NC to get it.
3Oh shiz

This looks so easy and delish1
5I haven't had those in so long, but they really are yummy!
6I love that you have beer and cocktail weenies in your fridge. And I don't think I'd have made it to the marshmallow and chow mein noodles stage, the melted chocolate & peanut butter looks gooooood.
7
These look delicious and really easy to make.
8I bet the kids would love this.
9I just ate two for breakfast.
10Yeah I had some chocolate and peanut butter swirls for breakfast. Nutritious.
11It's the sugar boost pep-up we need for our busy days.
12Goes great with coffee too.
13Well, time to break out the pan from the fridge then...
14Oh snap that looks good!
15love chocolatee!!!! yummy!
16chow mein noodles... I will search for those, what did they taste like? (the noodles)
the spiders looks so yummy...
17Ooh those look great!
18I keep coming back here and looking at these because they look SOOOOOO yummy
19We ate them all.
I think it's record time.
20YUM!! Those look great!
Oh my hubby would be so jealous, you can't get Yuengling in Georgia!!
We had a guy house watch for us who had just went to one of the Carolinas, well he had a whole case of Yuengling in the fridge. He left for New York and told my hubby to just drink it. I was cleaning out the fridge and went to pick the case up and dropped TEN of those Yuengling bottles on the floor. Glass shattering everywhere on my feet. What's my hubby say "BABE! You can't get that in Georgia!"

Sorry, Layla. He's right, though! We used to ration them before we got a local
distributor because we'd have to go over to the sprawling metropolis of Bryson City, NC (the closer NC counties are dry). Since it's made its way to TN, I am sure GA can't be far behind.
22We went out to dinner here, I wanna say Ruby Tuesday's, and it's on the menu and he asked for a glass of it and the guy was like "oooh, tricked ya. We can't serve that." and this was the day after I busted all those bottles. I was like ooo burn!
23Cruel! Remerton will probably have it first.
24When my college roommate moved out to California - I would mail her cases every now and then. It was the most expensive beer ever - it cost a fortune to mail! Back then you could buy it here for like 11 dollars a case - it was really hard to pay more for shipping then the cost for the stuff!
They have a brewery in Florida now - so I guess the goal is to be available on the entire east coast.
25Ooh I'll have to try this!
26I haven't had these in years. When me and my mom use to make them we would add salted peanuts to the mixture. We would also leave out the mellows sometimes and just mix the nuts and noodles either way it is delish.
