As some of you might of noticed, I have been away for a while...
It’s been a month now, and a wonderful month it was for me.
I was traveling in Europe and happened to come by a small cafe called Cafe Angelina, in Paris.
You won’t believe what I came by there...
Something so pure, so heavenly, so, so, ...there are simply no words for what I encountered in that cafe.

It was my mom who took me there, saying that she had read in the internet many stories of people having the most delicious hot chocolate ever in this place. It is called Chocolat l'Africain.

This was the most intense and purest chocolate melted to be consumed right away luxuriously blended with cream to produce a drink to bring decadence into our lives. There were spices added in to make sure the bitterness of the cocoa could be enjoyed for its flavors and really show its personality instead of being shoved behind the sweetness of sugar as it so often is in US.

I was very curious and excited, and not only did I experience the taste of the ever so, so, ...magical hot chocolate, but I also enjoyed another great specialty of the cafe.
A desert called the Mont Blanc.
The brown chestnut cream is sweet and dense, yet tenderly supported by whipped cream in the middle, and the combination adds a sense of lightness to the intensity of the chestnut cream. Underneath all the cream is a strong meringue layer that gives the two soft layers a distinct personality and texture.
All was heaven in its own.

Now, I do not recommend having both at the same time...
...because I almost fainted by the end, it was a chocolate rush too intense, a woozy light headed feeling, a sweet power, something I have never felt before.
I was indeed in heaven, but also a bit sick if I may add...
It was FOR SURE all worth it...
By the end you can buy yourself a pack in the counter of the luxurious chocolate l'Africain to take home.
I couldn't.
It was hard to turn away, but it would of been something I wouldn’t of ever open or dare to use.
Anyways, I hope these images will make you understand my writing of this intense experience I had.
