Oriental Crunch Salad
Hi everyone. I just remembered this salad recipe that I have. It is so simple (seriously takes about 5 minutes to put together)..and absolutely delicious. It makes a ton, so you can put it in the fridge and snack on it for days. Sometimes the fam likes to throw chicken in it and make a burrito out of it. Anyway, here it is, for your enjoyment:
Ingredients:
1 package cole slaw
1 package broccoli cole slaw
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 cup sunflower seeds
2 bunches green onions, chopped
1/2 cup salad oil or 3/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
2 packages Ramen beef soup
Directions:
1. Mix the cole slaw, broccoli slaw, Ramen noodles (crushed, save the seasoning packets), green onions, sunflower seeds, and almonds.
2. In a bowl, mix the 2 Ramen noodle seasoning packs, oil, sugar, and white wine vinegar.
3. Pour liquid mixture over the salad mixture, mix, and enjoy. Any leftovers can go in the fridge.

I had something like this at Easter this year and loved it! I can't wait to try this.
*I reject your reality and substitute my own*
I make this too, and it's delicious!! It's seriously something I crave when I haven't had it in a while. Hmm...now that I'm thinking of it, I'm craving it now!
Sounds yummy and easy!
This is my favorite type of cole slaw! I lost my recipe so thank you tons for posting this. I've also used chicken ramen noodles and the spicy lime flavored packet.
I think I'm gonna make this for the next potluck/carry in I have to go too - sounds yummy!
Truly Outrageous,
Daisy Mae
