A few weeks ago I asked the question " Silicon Bakeware - Is it any good?". There seemed to be a mixed response, so I decided to try it out myself. I went to BBB and bought a muffin pan and made Melt In Your Mouth, Crumbly Topped Banana Muffins" posted by celebrity_soup.
Like some of you said - the bakeware is flimsy so be careful when putting in our taking out of the oven. Other than that I thought it was great. It cleans up easy, and removing the muffins was easy. I think I'll get another pan.

Cheap Monday
I am happy to hear they worked out for you. The muffin pan you have looks just like mine
1It was that one or the pink one but the pink one looked more flimsy.
2I use mine all of the time. I have the muffin pan, the bread loaf pan (haven't used it just yet), the cake pans (I use all of the time and love). Mine even came with a cool holder for the muffin pan.
3When I use my silicone loaf pan I set it on a cookie sheet since it's wobbly. I really want to get a couple of silicone muffin pans and make Celebrity Soup's Mango Muffins again.

4These ones were great. I suggest trying them.
5I used Silpats for cookies and stuff, but I use Sili-Cups for muffins and cupcakes, and they are awesome! They look like regular paper muffin cups, and they work the same way, but the muffins pop right out, and they're easy to clean up.
I would include a link, but you'll have to Google since a URL will flag this comment.
6Thanks, I googled. Like I always say, "Google tells me what I need to know and MSWord knows what I'm saying"
7Glad you liked it. Those muffins look oh so yummy!
8Success! I'm glad you liked it.
9RAWWRRR those look good. You're totally convincing me about getting a set. I need a round pan to make cakes too...

They were super easy to make too!
11Thanks for sharing this. I've been wondering about silicon bakeware. I'll have to pick up one to try.
12A hint if you find that it's too wobbly to put into the oven, put a cookie sheet under your silicone pan! I love my silicone bakeware! I also have a pizza stone and stone cookie sheet that I love ... not sure which I love more - silicone or stone, haha!
13very cool! Did you get an expensive one?
14It was about $13.
15cool. Thanks! I think I will invest in some.
16Ooh nice!
