Sugar Dollops
These go great with tea&coffee or as an after dinner snack
2/3 cup butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
In a large mixing bowl beat butter on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add sugar, baking powder, and salt. Beat until combined, scraping sides occasionally. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla until combined. Stir in flour until smooth.
Taking a spoon "dollop" the cookie mix onto a ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 preheated oven for 13-15 minutes.
You could top these with any type of icing, but I prefer to just sprinkle with powdered sugar to cut down on the sweetness.
*Be careful with how many peaks you put on the cookie because they will burn*
