Arthur's been talking about his spaghetti and meatballs for a week or two around the office, so I got the bug to make some myself tonight. I looked around at recipe after recipe and settled in on Rachael Ray's Spaghetti and Meatballs Recipe from foodtv.
I don't actually like Rachael Ray, but the recipe seemed simple and somewhat interesting with the Worcestershire sauce, and I have to say I enjoyed the meatballs- also the recipe was insanely simple.

Thank you once again Rachael! Made this last night, and it's delicious. From her site:
Cold Chicken Satay Noodles
This dinner can be served at room temp or cold -- making it a great option for warm spring and summer nights.

At the welcome back party I planned on YumSugar and threw on Saturday night I made a rustic red fruit tart for dessert. It was absolutely delicious and there was just enough for everyone to get a slice.
Red Fruit Tart
From Rachael Ray magazine
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick (4 ounces) unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
Ice water
1 large egg, separated
1 1/4 pounds ripe plums (sliced), strawberries (halved) and cherries (halved)
Sugar, for sprinkling
1 tablespoon milk
2 tablespoons apricot jam, heated and strained
In a food processor, pulse the flour with the salt.

This is a recipe that is originally from Rachael Ray that I have adapted a little to make it my own. My boyfriend absolutely loves this dish! He’s always happy to hear when it’s on the menu for the week.

foodnetwork.comWhether you love Rachael Ray or not, this is one of the best variations on the traditional spaghetti that I have ever tried! It has interesting flavor combinations and a little kick to it! I change it a little.
