This playful design is infinitely practical. Shaped like a pepper (and available in the "pepper colors" of green and yellow only), Super Pepper enables you to chop carrots, onions, zucchini, etc with ease. Simply depress the top in order to chop; the chopped vegetables stay contained with the shape of the piece (so no stray chopped vegetable pieces!). Super Pepper is new from Stefano Giovannoni and is part of Alessi's Spring/Summer 2003 Collection.

You can't help but fall in love with this adorable squirrel which is perched atop a cast aluminum bowl. He actually cracks nuts with a twist of his ears; the cracked nutshell and contents gently fall into the lower container. In addition to cracking nuts, this piece provides the perfect open container for presenting shelled nuts at the bar or around the house during a cocktail party. Nutty the Cracker is available in brown with polished aluminum bowl only.

Another enigmatic object from Tommy Larsen which functions as a lemon squeezer. Its simple shape serves to enhance the objects purpose. To use push and twist the sharpened steel spiral into the fruit and squeeze to enjoy the juice.

Available in the European market since 2003, this stunning electric juicer by Stefano Giovannoni is now available in the US. To date there has been one object that retromodern sells which has been unanimously admired by all the various personalities which comprise the staff here... this honey pot is the one! Each of us either loves the look, the weight of the crystal, the juxtaposition of the polished stainless against the beveled transparency, or how simply beautiful golden honey looks when magnified through the thick crystal walls. Even the stainless wand is mesmerizing as it drags sticky honey and allows you to wave it and dribble it wherever you want to sweeten something up.
